Welcome to Deb Does Therapy

I’m Deb and I’ve recently moved my job title of author to in front of my other job title of psychologist, but I’m still both. Being a writer has gradually become more essential to me. So, here you’ll find the whole me, not just the therapist me.

My newsletter is for the creatives who sometimes don’t know how or what to create, the ‘over-thinkers’, the agonisingly compassionate, the sometimes anxious who still manage to love, love, love life, or really want to. It’s for the therapy-curious or those in therapy, the writers, and those who live in their heads a lot but still love a good night out. It’s a place for intense and sometimes difficult conversations with creative flourishes.

People

I'm an author and psychologist supporting, coaching, educating and counselling for two decades. Before that I was a long term therapy patient myself. I’m all about transparency and telling it like it is.
